We try to provide an open and supportive environment for every one of our employees, so that they in turn can provide world class service to every single one of our customers, every day. And although it's impossible to be perfect, exceeding our customers' expectations on every single interaction is something we strive for continuously.
They are very conscientious about their service. It was a fine experience. They followed up. Once I handed the car to the service coordinator, it was really fast. The service was good!
I had a really straightforward experience both times I took my Fit in for maintenance, once in 2010 and once a year later. No drama, no one was trying to sell me anything crazy (one time I had an Audi dealership try to convince me to pay them hundreds to change my car battery . . .) and everybody was kind and attentive. I'm hesitant to give 5 stars because these were pretty basic maintenance visits so the service was as expected.
I brought the car in with no appointment on a Saturday and was able to retrieve it at the end of the day.
Absolutely the greatest car buying experience EVER. Seriously, I love them. I also love my 2011 Black Civic LX-S Sedan with the chrome package and the 100,000 mile Honda warranty and the 0.9% APR financing and the fact that they delivered it right to my door in Marin. Sweet.
My daughter woke up yesterday to a car that wouldn’t start. I was in town for her birthday and it looked like it was going to be a disaster. Aaron was anxious to help and provided us with nothing but exceptional service. I never thought that I would get such efficient, personal services in "a big city". Thanks again and you helped turn what could of been a disastrous birthday into a wonderful day for both of us!
So I bring my CRV in the other day because I am hearing this strange noise when making turns. It was my first time coming to this dealer (just moved here) so I was not sure what I would get.
What I got was great treatment and honesty. My service rep had a technician drive in the car with me to ensure he heard the noise I was hearing (really like that). After the drive, Bobby gave me an estimate for inspection and I left my car, hoping that the news was not going to be too bad. Several hours later I got a call from Bobby. He told me that they determined the problem, the fluid for something in the back needed to be replaced.
When I asked him how much it was going to cost me to change this fluid, he advised me that he already did it. As I started to freak out thinking "here we go", he continued on that there was no cost, he was able to get Honda to pay for it as goodwill since my car was just a year outside the warranty. What a great experience! Everyone there was really nice and professional, not what I expected from a dealer.
Wow great customer service. I have a brand new Insight and i hit a curve, my tire pressure was low and it was 3pm. The place was very busy but the service guy Ray took time to check my tire and assured me that i will be safe to drive the car home and even added washer fluid and to my suprise at no charge. I will be back to them for future services.
I drove to SF Honda to look at their new line up. As I was talking with the Honda salesperson, I was approached by the Service Advisor, Tyler Dang.
Tyler was very profession and respectful. Tyler advised me that he was looking over my service records and noticed that I was due for a tune-up. Tyler said the service will be free, due to my warranty plan. I set up an appointment and service the vehicle with no hitch at all. I even tried to tip $$$ Tyler, but he respectfully declined.
We bought a Honda CRV in 2005 from this dealership and so far have had a great experience. Each time we have taken the car in for service, maintenance checks, etc., the staff has always been very efficient and friendly. I am glad that our decision to buy a car from a local SF dealership has paid off rather than going to an out of town dealership.
The entrance + where exactly to drop your car and whom you should approach to ( in the room that were full with people but everyone seems too busy to talk to you) are always a bit confusing to me.
But once you find someone to talk to and point you to the right direction ( for me, the rep, who took care of my car last time - name " Mark") you will be just fine.
Mark ( Honda - rep, who took care my car and my case) this time, was very thorough took a lot of time to explain all my questions without making me feel like i am a dumb person who has no idea about the car that i drive at all.
We have always used their service for years as they are very reliable. My friend tried to suggest me to use other places that much cheaper but i really don't want to risk my car to someone whom I can't trust. I don't want to save pennies to loose dollars, paying cheaper car care service just to fond out later on that the car's problem didn't get fixed and i got my car broke down on the highway( happened to me before).
So this center always get my car fixed and problem always solved ( I never have to go back and fixed the same problem again) and that's all i need.
They know what they're doing: Their repair shop is excellently run, very streamlined dropping off the car (multiple workers jockeying the cars around), and they offer shuttle service to anywhere in the city. They were very helpful with the questions I'd had, and were very quick in getting my car back to me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for Honda owners!
My husband and I were able to enjoy our holiday thanks to the efficient and diligent staff you had working on the night before Thanksgiving. They took us in without an appointment at 4:45PM and quickly fixed our flat. Mathew was super pleasant and helpful despite us being a last minute need.
I wanted some repair work done on my car. I ordered the part and it came quickly. I was notified as soon as it came in. It was only a couple of days later. The service manager i scheduled an appointment with was Ray. He met me and had everything ready to go. He did not have to explain anything. he took charge of it down to the last detail and they put me in the car. The work was done beautifully. The car was delivered to me washed and cleaned. I spent a lot of money. It felt like i had a much more expensive car than a honda because of the level of service i received.
After getting the run around from three other dealers, my wife found SF Honda. They were able to get the car she was looking for, in the color she wanted, during the weekend (so she wasn't working), the salesman didn't try to finagle anything or up-sell or check with his manager or the "mandatory options". It really was what car buying should be.
We dealt with Mark. Our finance person was next door to Mark (I don't remember her name. Great lady though). We had called and let Mark know were going to come by to see the car and buy if all was in order. We had a new Honda that afternoon.
Congrats to the service department, finally after years of own a few different Honda's I actually received great service! Other than the fact that SFPD and SFMTA love to give my Element tons of parking tickets, I eliminated the chances of getting another ticket for not having a front license plate. I called to make sure they had the part, purchased it, and the boys popped it on in a matter of seconds. Never have I been in and out of place this quickly until today! High Five SF Honda, I'll definitely return for "real" service on my Honda and hope I get the same quick and friendly service.
I recently had a new addition to my family and needed a bigger car...i waited for the deals on tv to get better, and finally on presidents day week, i saw the ads....great financing available through the honda dealer...i emailed honda.com and the responses started to come....i was looking for a new crv or pilot...i got offers from all over the bay area....Serramonte Honda, San Leandro, El Cerrito, Anderson to name a few...i called and emailed for days, before deciding on San Francisco Honda, who matched any better deal I would have gotten by $100 or more...I went on the Sunday in the around 11am after getting off working the graveyard shift...i went down with my wife and two kids...I talked to James Chun, who gave me the prices of the crvs and pilots...after all it was said and done, i ended up buying a pilot,, the price was too good to pass up....i've never bought a new car before, this was my first one...James had an assistant, Tyler Dumas, who brought up the car..i drove it all over on the street, highway,, he answered any question i had..Quynh Pham was the finance guy...he did it as quickly as possible and got my wife and kids home, as i waited for the car...i was tired from working the night before..i got an awesome rate and thats what i really wanted...i waited until around 2pm for the car to be prepped..in the meantime, Tyler explained the whole car to me...everything from the radio, seats, ac, tires, maintenance, anything and everything...i drove the car home and that was that...months later i got a call from Tyler, asking if the car was okay..it was...
The service technicians did the right thing. I explained to them what was going on. They found the problem and fixed it.
The service was done efficiently and quickly. They explained everything that my car needed. I enjoyed the shuttle service.
One of the better car experiences I’ve had. Very good customer service from start to finish. When taking my appointment, they were courteous and looked into the timeline for ordering the parts to make sure that they could finish the job on the appointment day. They treated me like this even though all I needed was a cheap warranty repair. A lot of other places would have treated me differently because it’s obvious they weren’t going to make money off of me. And they got the job done in the timeframe they stated.
Great service from Honda and Bobby It started with a phone call. Trying to get the best price for service. S.F Honda was the last place I called and it resulted in a great experience and money saved! Bobby answered all my questions patiently, unlike some of my previous calls to other dealers. The thing that really took me by surprise was the price difference. Every other place was quoting me hundreds of dollars for my service. S.F. Honda, 144.00! So of course I wondered what they were not doing. But sure enough, when I arrived for service, Bobby showed me that what was being done was exactly what was needed. So either the other places are too expensive or they are doing things that are not needed. Either way, I'm a happy camper and stoked I found a place I can trust my Honda and wallet to! Ask for Bobby!
Dear Igor, I just wanted to write and thank you again for taking such good care of me last Friday. I love the car! And I truly think of you with gratitude every time I drive it.

I also simply enjoy meeting you and discussing things not related to cars. I am sorry we didn’t have more time to talk. If you are ever down near Santa Cruz, please give me a call. Again I appreciate your help so much.
Honest, Dependable and REAL 100% satisfaction! Honesty and integrity are the hallmarks of San Francisco Honda. We have been taking our Civic to San Francisco Honda for the past ten years. Recently my wife went to pickup the car after a repair and found that there had been a misunderstanding on what she had expected to be repaired. I have to hand it to the staff at San Francisco Honda service center especially Tyler Dang and Mark Conrad instead of arguing and pointing fingers they made it right. San Francisco Honda's service center is a “stand up” shop. I look forward to at least another ten years of great service from them. Thank you to the entire team at San Francisco Honda's Service Center.
WOW! Great customer service, I have a brand new Insight and I hit a curve, my tire pressure was low and it was 3pm, the place was very busy but the service guy ray took time to check my tire and assured me that I will be safe to drive the car home and even added washer fluid and to my surprise at no charge I will be back to them for future services.
I had a good experience bringing my car in for a recall repair. No one tried to upsell me on anything, just printed out what was due for my car.
Most of the time, I go in, ask for the service I want, and they do it. There's wifi and a blaring television. Usually, I don't get an upsell, but once or twice I've had service here and definitely got reprimanded for not doing what they recommended, and they pushed hard to do more, so i stopped going for a while. After my last experience with SF Honda being so good (and a local mechanic being so terrible!), I may go back for a service again.
Coming here for an actual repair might not be the best option -- It's about $150 for them to just look at/diagnose the problem in your car, so I went someplace else, where the total with parts was only $118 and I was quite satisfied.
